July 24, 2010 - First twenty-four hours in London:
To recollect the first day I was in London: Ritika and I were roommates from before. Weve known each separate for 3 years. So we planned on taking the equivalent flight here and back. It was comforting to know that there was mortal else beside me all the way through this trip. So we staggered out of the drome and found the thermionic valve station, applied for an oyster card, hoped on the tube and arrived at Russell Square for the first time. Everything immediately looked different from what I was used to (Riverside). Even the tube, this was the first time I had interpreted the subway. We found our way to the international building, dropped off our stuff and alsok a walk through the neighborhood. This was the first time I travelled without my parents. It felt weird but in a goodness way. Everything around me was in the raw and different but not too different. Later that night we walked around Piccadillys circus. It was beautiful. London is outlet to be a wonderful experience I eyeshot to myself.
The next day we met up with Farah, whom Ritika had met over her stay in D.C. We travelled back to Piccadillys Circus and walked around. We found a small café and decided to have tea there.
At this indorsement we were still excited being in a new place. The café was so cute and pretty. The servers were extra nice. We were litigateed like princesses and we ever called one :]. Our first encounter with the British was amazing. Since we were scared of how they would treat Americans and what nots.
July 26, 2010 - Walking about London:
First day of family line! Wahhoo! It was nice meeting everyone today even though I bet we are all out of our comfort partition at the moment but Im about positive that everyone will get closer. Im delightful I have Ritika. So after the introductions to the course and some other members, our professor, Mr. Cogswell took us around the neighborhood.
