Frederick Douglass conveys in the floor about his mothers life and what life was like for a slave on the plantation. In the narrative Douglass has some recollection of his early eld but not enough. Douglass implies that slave know as shortsighted of their ages as horses know of theirs, most masters keep their slaves frankincense ignorant.
