The Scythians: A different nicety, a different lifestyle
Herodotus, a great Greek researcher of the 5th century B.C.E, did many works roughly elaborations nearby Greece, and investigated their usance and elbow room of living. In one of his researches he found a very interesting grouping of nomad tribes who together were called, according to Herodotus and the Greeks, the Scythians. This civilization was located on the Central-Asian steppe, which covered all from the North-East of the relentless Sea to Afghanistan (Godolphin, 1974). Herodotus depict this civilization as a big, prestigious and diverse group of nomad tribes with a well-developed society and military forces.
Herodotus described the Scythians as civilization of a wide and interesting history. He started talking approximately the roots of the Scythians or basically how this civilization was formed; which also included the different tales that were related to this topic. He went from the most epic story that included the participation of Greek gods, such as Zeus and their first man, to the most seamless and logic, according to Herodotus, which talked about a displacement caused by the craft of other stronger civilizations (Godolphin, 1974).
He also talked about the characteristics of each group that formed the whole Scythian civilization such as, the Cimmerians, the Sacae, the Massagetae and the Getae. Herodotus dual-lane them by their location and also by their lifestyle and the way they sustained themselves, what they produced for a living (Piotrovsky, 1973).
Herodotus then concentrates his description to the caseful of weather that, in each season, the Scythians had and the privileges that the location of their cities gave them when speaking about war and defense against other countries.
