This essay discussed the many barriers to multicultural communication. The rootage concludes that there are five main barriers to such communication, which embroil diction, nonverbal signs and symbols, perceptions and stereotypes, the tendency to evaluate, and high anxiety. All these factors create barriers amid two people attempting to communicate with each other. I completely agree with the author. I think there are a lot of things we misconceive about each other. In my country we usually find unknowns exclusively I feel that in America the foreigner has to give up substance more to feel unconnected of society. In Saudi Arabia everything thing an American does wrong is mechanically excused by saying that oh its just his culture tho in America its hard to find people with this soma of blind tolerance. We give up so much to be here, our homeland, our religious and tribal traditions, our dress, our food, and our emotional and societal support to stop here.



These are all things that are so important to us, but are not that important to Americans since most of them generally speaking, bouncy far from their families and dont care about tribes.
For me the language barrier is the hardest. Sometimes I think I mute the American speaking to me 100% just to find out five minutes after the conversation that I authentically did not understand anything. This gives me serious confidence issues because now Im completely paranoid that I think Im understanding Americans but Im really not understanding anything at all.
The second barrier for me is then the cultural values that Americans have for women. Although we too love and take note our women we show it in a completely different way than Americans do.
