Thomas Lanier Williams, known as Tennessee Williams, is the write of
Streetcar Named Desire. Williams was born March 26, 1911 in Columbus, Mississippi. His father was a shoe man and his mother was the daughter of a minister. His parents of all time engaged in violent arguments.
Upon Williams education, his father do him withdrawal from college and work at an International Shoe Company. Williams did go back in 1937 and in 1938, he graduated from the University of Iowa. Williams died in 1983 on February 24 in a hotel in unsanded York by choking to death on a feeding bottle cap. He was buried in St. Louis, Missouri. Before his death, he produced lots of short(p) dramatic events and screen plays, two novels, or novella, 60 short stories, and over 100 poems. He won two Pulitzer Prizes and quad New York Drama Critics Circle Awards.
