PREJUDICE AND DISCRIMINATION Prejudice and disparity ar public in todays society but are wrong in every last(predicate) religions and beliefs .Prejudice is usually soundless as having bad purpose intimately someone even if you dont whop much about that person but keeping it to your self .Discrimination is usually understood as putting your prejudicial thoughts into action.
Prejudice and discrimination are wrong because they cause hurt ,suffering ,mistrust ,a break down in communities ,possibly deaths and because they are against the churches beliefs. This is also wrong because according to the book of genesis 1.24 we are all make in the image of God. likewise in the Vatican 2 (1965) it says The church rejects as foreign to the understanding of Christ, any discrimination against men or harassment of them because of their race, color, check of life or religion.
The particular issue that I want to bring up is the one of disability, mainly cogitate on Down Syndrome and people with physical and/or moral disability .The reason I chose this issue because I know people who prejudge people just because of how they act or on any part of their outward appearance .I in person strongly object to be apart of any discrimination or prejudice against anyone with a disability because God made every man equal.
In the passage of Galatians 3:26-28 it says for all of you are the children of God ,through faith, in Christ the Nazarene ,since everyone of you that has been baptized has been clothed in Christ .There can be neither Jew nor Greek, there can be neither break ones back nor freeman, there can be neither male nor womanly for you are all one in Christ messiah. This is trying to send the message that no matter what you gestate in or look like you are all the same...
